Limitations of iTunesFusion Pro?

Apologies of this is several subjects in one but they're all relevant to the limits of the product:

Am I right in thinking with iTunesFusion you can only sync playlists? You can't choose Artist or Album?

When I attach my Sony NW-A45 to resync after changing/adding playlists in iTunes it seems to rescan all files that exist on the device? As this is around 19000 this takes some time. Is this the normal behaviour?

When it comes to Micro SD cards do you its better to reduce the I/O chain by removing the card from the device and using a good quality card reader for sync as opposed to mounting the card via MTP and syncing that way?

Many thanks :-)

You're correct, you can only select playlists in iTunesFusion. Being able to choose by Artist, Album, or Genre is a neat idea though, I will add it to our feature request list for future consideration.

It does need to re-scan the files on the target device to compare what's on the device with what needs to be synced. It should only be actually transferring files that are changed/new though.

I don't think in terms of I/O it makes much of a difference which way you do it. If the card is directly connected to the computer, iTunesFusion just does a straight copy of the files. If it's going through MTP, iTunesFusion sends the data to the device, and the device creates the files on the card. It may be slightly faster to do it with the card connected to the computer though.

Hope that helps!
