How does iTunesFusion detect an iTunes library?

Hello everybody,
hopefully this is an easy question:
I would like to know, how the sync interface between iTunesFusion and iTunes Looks like.

Does iTunesFusion just use the "iTunes Library.xml" file or does it really communicate with an active instance of iTunes.

If it's just the XML, how does iTunesFusion determine the path to this file.

I'm forced to copy a slightly modified Version of my iTunes Library to the Default Location so that Google Music Manager is running fine.

iTunesFusion should not read this modified Version but the original one, which is located at drive s:\....

Best regards

iTunesFusion uses the iTunes API and doesn't interact with the XML file directly at all. So as long as iTunes works fine iTunesFusion should work fine as well.

Thank you for this quick Reply.
It saved me a lot of time finding out whether my current workaround for Google Music Manager might have an effect on iTunesFusion.

Now I'm happy to read, that this is not the case.

Thank you and best regards!
